Meet the Author

Gale Benn, a WWII Navy Fighter Pilot, was born in Rochester, New York and lived in Switzerland for 14 years. In 1972 he published Olympic Gold, the official record of championship performances since 1896. He moved to New York City in 1981 and has written a collection of short stories and poetry. A graduate of Colgate University, he lives now in the Adirondacks with a beautiful wife, an aging black lab and a very gentle tabby cat.
