Whatever Happened to the Pecords? is a quick read that successfu

Whatever Happened to the Pecords? is a quick read that successfully achieves the goal of setting the stage for a mystery to unfold. It takes us back to a more innocent time when communities were safer and tight-knit, and allowed its youth to explore the world around them more freely. Sometimes the exploration led to moments of bravery. Other times it was met with parental disappointment. Either way, James Naughton's writing style is such that it made me wish I grew up in the same time and place that he portrays. I could easily see this constructed into a cinematic tale for the Boomer generation.
