Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Professional organizer Platt offers an enticing array of advice and colored photos designed to make living at home, work, or a vacation more relaxing. She offers quick tips (e.g., storing sterling silver with chalk to prevent tarnish), instructions (e.g., folding silk scarves correctly), and one-hour projects (e.g., taking back the junk drawer) that anyone can immediately put into practice. Guidelines for organizing office space are designed for those who like to file and those who prefer to pile, and detailed steps for vacation packing and cross-country moving are also included. The employment of one idea alone is worth the price of the book.

    This Dis-Organized person loved it!

I was highly skeptical when I picked this book up off the promotional table, but I was pleasantly surprised!

The information is straight-forward, delivered in chunks (which is great for a scattered, easily distracted person like me), and well organized.

While the tips are very practical, some bad habits may be hard to unlearn.

All in all, a very wise purchase for anyone with organizational challenges.
