A young girl has fun trying on clothes, shoes, hats, and other items in her grandmother's closet. As she finds a variety of keepsakes and tries things on, she wonders how they would have looked on her grandmother or how they would have looked on her when she was younger. In the end, we see a very attractive and youthful grandmother. Our young protagonist notes that the greatest gift of all is spending time with her grandmother. The book comes packaged with an assemble-it-yourself charm bracelet in a pull-out drawer. The charms are related to the items in the closet, but this seems like a rather slim relationship to the story. The bracelet assembly will require adult assistance. Reviewer: Marilyn Courtot
