What's Left of Us is so beautifully written. I loved going on this Journey with Parker and Aundrea. I felt there fear, hope and so much love. Thank you Amanda for listening to your readers and giving us an Amazing Conclusion to a beautiful love story. **Don't start this book if you have somewhere to be, something to do, someone to see. Once you start you won't be able to emerge until the very end. #AmandaMaxlyn

What's Left of Us picks up three years after What's Left of Me, and chronicles Aundrea and Parker's journey to having a child. I enjoyed spending time with them, and their friends, again.I also liked that some of this story is from Parker's POV. But while there were some emotionally profound moments, I don't think What's Left of Us carried quite the emotional punch that its predecessor did. We are right there with Aundrea and Parker when they celebrate elatedly certain events - and I swooned over Parer's thoughtfulness and romantic gestures towards his wife. We were also partner with them as they suffered loss and paralyzing fear over things out of their control. Ms. Maxlyn is quite skilled in imparted the physical and emotional turmoil felt when dealing with heavy subjects, such as illness and death, as well as birth and love. The words - the advice she offers as her characters cope are profound. Getting Parker's POV in this book was exciting. I wanted to know his thoughts and feelings about Aundrea and her cancer/health issues and concerns. I can only imagine the impact these things would have on a man so passionately n love. For the most part, I liked this perspective. Understanding his desire to provide Aundrea with the life she didn't think she'd get and his fears of failing her or losing here made him so real. There was also a lot of "I want my wife" and while I enjoyed their steamy interludes, I felt like it was unnecessary at points. In trying to have a baby, we see Aundrea isn't past her fears of dying and leaving her loved ones behind. A friend and fellow cancer patient gave her some sound advice though: "Your past doesn't determine who you are. Don't let it. You need to have faith. Getting over a fear doesn't happen overnight, but accepting it will get you a lot closer to being over it."  -Amy, eARC Loc 1587 This proves helpful not only for Aundrea, but for Parker, too. And I think everyone would do well to heed it. We don't control things the way we'd like to be able to and life it too short to spend it focused on fear or the past - to let them control your present and future. What's Left of Us was a heartwarming conclusion to Aundrea and Parker's story. Although it wasn't quite the kick in the gut What's Left of Me provided, I marveled at the resilience and strength of the human spirit as shown through these characters.

I would love to purchase What's left of Us but do not see where I can purchase for my NOOK Reader. I've also been trying to contract the publisher which is the author of the book to find out how to purchase. If anyone knows how I can purchase for the Nook Reader, please let me know. I loved the first book What's Left of Me and would love to read the next one.

4 star ***Joint Review with Brianna Dunn King*** I was pulled right into this story. The story blew me away! It was an emotional roller coaster ride. Hold on to your seat and enjoy the ride. If you have not read the below I would recommend reading that book first What's Left of Me (What's Left of Me, #1) Aundrea is cancer free now. She is happily married to Parker. What is next for them? Parker wants kids. Will Aundrea be able to have kids? This book takes you through the daily fears and struggles of a cancer survivor trying to live there life. Not only do you have her fears you also have Parkers fear of losing her…. I loved these characters. There are some tear filled moments in this story. But all in all I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a truly great read. I highly recommend this book.

What's Left of Us is the heartwarming conclusion to What's Left of Me by Amanda Maxlyn. I absolutely loved the first book and was so excited when I found out she was writing a second book. Amanda did a wonderful job at pulling at my heartstrings with this beautiful story. Aundrea has lived an extremely difficult life so far. She is currently cancer free and living a wonderful life with her handsome husband Parker. She has so much she would love to do in life but her ongoing heart condition keeps her from following some of her dreams as she fears leaving her loved ones behind. Parker is the perfect man for Aundrea as he is always pushing her to live life as if there is no tomorrow. He is also scared about the future but knows that life can be cut short for anyone no matter how healthy they are. They make a huge life changing decision and even though they go through many ups and downs they finally get the best gift life can give. I loved the connection between Aundrea and Parker. They were absolutely perfect for each other. I loved how supportive and understanding they were of each other. I loved all of the supporting characters in this series as well. It takes a special person to grow and nurture a life for another family. Wendy was an amazing character in this book. I highly recommend this series! It is a definite must read.

I am not sure what to say about this book, but Oh! My! Goodness!  I loved it!!!  I was a little nervous to read the second book since the first book moved me so much (read sobbed uncontrollably), but I put on my big girl panties and dove right in.  In this book I did not sob uncontrollably, luckily, but I did cry, so be warned. I loved the continuing story of Aundrea and Parker.  They have such an amazing story and Amanda tells it flawlessly.  In the first book,  we deal with Aundrea’s insecurities and fears regarding her health and her future.  In this book, we get to see that she has grown into  a secure woman, thanks to Parker, and now it is her turn to return the favor.  She is able to help him deal with his insecurities regarding her health and help him focus on their future, a very bright future I might add.  I am so happy that we got to be a part of the next chapter  in their lives.  I feel like I know them personally and I am definitely rooting for them and their happily ever after. My only issue with this book, if you can call it that – is that it read too fast.  It was over way too quickly, not that I could think of anything  else Amanda could have added to the story.  I was just a little sad that it was over. This book was given to me for a fair and honest review for Books Books Books Blog.

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED THIS BOOK! This is the perfect ending to the most amazing story I've ever read. I have been reading 20 to 30 books a month for the last 2 years and I can honestly say Amanda Maxlyn is and amazing author and story teller. I for one cannot wait to see what her future holds. The story of Parker and Aundrea is one of strength, courage, heartache, happiness, friendship and above all a love like no other. I had laugh out loud moments and others I spent screaming crying. Lol. When Amy. I don't want to say anything else for of giving too much away. You will definitely have to have tissues close by. If you decide to read anything else this year you NEED to read What's left of me ( book 1 ) and then this conclusion to bring the most perfect, most beautiful love story ever to an end. Amanda, I cannot thank you enough for writing this amazing story and sharing it with us. I can honestly say I'm a better person for reading this story. I had a massive stroke 3 years ago and I still have days I want to give up when I 'm struggling to do things that were once so simple I just say the serenity prayer and remind myself it could have been so much worse. I'm a survivor! I EXTREMELY recommend this story to everyone!

I loved What's Left of Me (first book) and am so happy there was a continuation of their story. Honestly, I didn't think I needed more of their story until I heard there was going to be one and Amanda Maxlyn did NOT disappoint! Ms. Maxlyn has a talent for sucking her readers in from the first page and not letting go until the very end. Her writing style is simply effortless and unlike anything I've read. The way she evokes raw emotion is a true gift. I love these characters and even the secondary. What's Left of Us is a much different read than WLOM. Yes, it's still very emotional, but it's also funny, upbeat, steamier and overall a feel good book. It will leave you content with these characters and your heart full. I lsughed, cried and even felt my face blushing at times. You will NOT be disappointed in the book. I devoured it in an afternoon. I'm sad to say goodbye to Parker and Aundrea, but so excited to see what else Amanda has in store for us. I know it will be amazing!

What to say about this super awesome story?  I loved it! I loved the first book and I knew I would love this one too but you just never know if you will love it as much. I truly loved this one as much if not more. The story is so romantic, it's like full of love and when you are reading you feel so much, you feel happy and sad sometimes but mostly it's happy.  The emotions that this story will give you will be many and strong. You might cry, a lot. But you will also feel completely happy and satisfied after you read the story. There are some super hot steamy sex scenes. You will love the characters just as much if not more in this story. Also you will fall in love with Parker Cade Jackson, I fell in love since the first book and of course with this story I fell even harder, he has always been my book boyfriend and now I am 100% sure that no other will ever take his place. This is the most awesome guy ever and I wish everyone could have him as a husband for real. Best male character ever written. Andrea is the best too, she is so strong and sometimes even funny. I really love the friendships too, they seem so real and fun.  Super awesome HEA ending.  Recommend to all my friends for a super romantic read but read What's Left Of Me first so that you can understand this story.

Ok, I must start this review with the disclaimer that What’s Left of Me decimated me. It ripped me wide open on so many levels that I didn’t even fully comprehend at the time. Now with that being said, What’s Left of Us also tore me apart but it such a different way. There were tears of all sorts in this book. And while the journey that Parker and Aundrea was a tumultuous one. It was a journey of healing and beginning to truly live again. And for Aundrea that is one of the toughest things ahead of her. She never planed on having a future or the things a future entailed. And now they are in her lap and she must again decided how she wants to proceed. Imagine beginning your life and then add to the top of that all the things that take over your mind because you are a cancer survivor… yeah tough thoughts!! And then there is the ever patient and loving Parker. He couldn’t have been a more understanding husband. He continually reassures her and tries to help her over come her fears!! A totally A+ book!! I loved it and I loved seeing Parker & Aundrea get their ever after! Jammie

I feel in love with Aundrea and Parker in What's Left of Me and this was the Perfect sequel to it. WLoU teaches us while entertaining us. All the characters are monumental in helping Parker and Aundrea. This book is about survival, the importance of family and standing up to your fears and conquering them. We sometimes forget these things. But we are shown to be grateful everyday for what we have in front of us, don't look to past or the future concentrate on today. "Life is never guaranteed and you need to enjoy what you have no matter what" This a definite must read.

Amanda Maxlyn has done it again!!!! This story was Beautifully written, Aundrea and Parker have a love like no other, The first book had me gutted and this one was no different. I loved seeing them get married and get through some of the hardest times a couple should have to go though, now they have some new challenges with wanting a family of their own. This story is such a journey for the two of them and i felt as though i was living it with them, I felt every emotion, I smiled hard and cried harder. I have loved every second of this Beautiful love story and am sad to see it end but ohhh what an ending. Ty Amanda for writing such a Wonderful story.

I was beyond excited when I found out the Amanda was planning on writing a follow-up to her novel What's Left of Me. I may have jumped up and down and fist pumped a few time. People around me probably thought I lost my mind but I didn't care.  This heartwarming conclusion to Aundrea and Parker's story was just what I needed to finally take that sigh of relief. You know that breath you hold when you know there is more to come If you read What's Left of Me you know that Amanda Maxlyn delivered an ugly cry that soaked plenty of Kindles...I know mine was. If you think that there is no way that Amanda can live up to that, let me tell you this she did and then some. I am not going to give a lot of details but I can tell you this...the love between Aundrea and Parker to me is like that of Romeo and Juliet and Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy, it's timeless and never ending. While their future is not set in stone they love like today is the last day they will get to see, hold, touch or kiss each other. Their love is pure, everlasting and constant. No matter what curve balls life decides to throw at them, they swing for the fences, they don't back down. They are determined to get their happily ever after even if it doesn't last decades on Earth, they know their love transcends time. Parker and Aundrea are their usual loving, caring, unshelfish selves. Yes, they have grown, both individually and as a couple. Aundrea is stronger, more fierce, she knows she may not be guaranteed a long time on this Earth so she is living her life to the fullest. Doing things she couldn't do while sick and planning for a future that is not guaranteed. Parker is still that hot, caring...I am going to call him Super Hubby! He gives his all to Aundrea and the lengths he goes to to make her happy could melt the coldest heart. He is afraid of living without her one day and together he and Aundrea deal with the fear of the future all while living for today. If you haven't read What's Left of Me that needs to be read before you read What's Left of Us. Trust me neither disappoint. These characters will latch onto your heart and will not let go. Months after reading What's Left of Me I sometimes wondered if Amanda decided to write another book for Parker and Aundrea if they would still be in love and happy. I wondered if Aundrea was still healthy. I imagined Parker being the loving, devoted man he is. You get the point. They stuck with me and I am guessing that they always will. What's Left of Us took their story and wrapped in a box but didn't tie it shut. There is a happily ever after because no matter what happens, where they go or what they do Parker and Aundrea already found their happily ever after the moment they met.
