    Great Material

This book is a great way to help parents and counselors help children understand the value of sex. The entire series from these authors are wonderful tools for parents to interact with their children ages 3 and up

    Education begins at home...

and this book gives parents the tools to begin. Not only are the basics reviewed, there are also chapters on difficult topics such as sexual abuse, homosexuality, and AIDS. This book is an excellent resource with which to start a conversation with your child on the subject of sex education. If your child is ready for the topic, the interest and questions will readily flow. And, if you started a little too early, it should be obvious and you can save it for when they ask ( and they will if they know the topic is open for the future ).

For the person who called it "narrow minded"

For the person who called this book narrow minded...I think that every person is entitled to their own beliefs and THIS book is right for MY beliefs and MY family. Maybe YOUR opinion is narrow minded in one direction?!? Have you ever thought of it that way??? Just because I believe one thing and you another does not mean I am a bigott or a hater or "narrow minded." Where is the respect for all beliefs??? By not having that and exploring with AN OPEN mind what all beliefs are...well THAT is narrow minded. Truth be know...I love ALL people of different backgrounds and beliefs and am friends with many different people with very different belief systems. That doesn't mean I have to AGREE with what they do or the choices they make with their lives. To say this book is for narrow minded people is the narrow comment and is extreamly unintelligent and insulting.

    Another biogted reference

This book is just another attempt to indoctrinate the youth to become homophobes and sexual prudes. While I agree that a book such as this is needed, it deals with certain issues (homosexuality and marriage) in a very narrow-minded way. Books such as these make it even easier for american christians to justify their bigotry.
