With universal appeal (everyone poops, after all), this witty, illustrated description of over two dozen dookies (each with a medical explanation written by a doctor) details what one can learn about health and well-being by studying what's in the bowl. A floater? It's probably due to a buildup of gas. Now think back on last night's dinner, a burrito perhaps? . .

I have been diagnosed with IBS and Gluten sensitive and having a sensitive glycemic index. The book helped me understand my body better and learned what can prevent some of my symptoms without meds, kinda a back to basics thing. The best part was the corky spin on it. Everyone who sees it chuckles then picks it up and starts reading. I even gave it as a Christmas gift! I love this book, it put a uncomfortable topic an addictive read.

This book also contains Doctors who analyze poo, so it has it's health benefits. Your poo tells you alot about what is going on in your body, so it it informative. I recommend this book too anyone that is curious about their poo.

I grabbed this book as a last-minute purchase on my way to the register, and was immediately hooked! With mini-chapters called "Deja-poos", "The Green Goblin", and "poo-phoria", the reader is immediately drawn in to see what that section could be about. It is surprisingly extremely informative and scientifically correct, but also so entertaining that you don't realize you're actually learning something! We keep ours in the bathroom (for obvious reasons), and every time a new person sees the book, they come out with it, asking us where we got it! It's fantastic!

I purchase this book for my husband for Father's Day. It was meant for laughs, but we both learned a lot from the book.

This was informational and hilarious, I fell off the stool at B&N laughing, I was hissing, crying et all, but I find myself reviewing often, and it's permanently in the bathroom... Great idea!

An elder at my church who is now deceased, was an avid promoter of colon health. He would always tell us that the "bowels are the life line". I wish that he were alive so that I could give him this book as a gift. Unless you are squeamish, this little, easy-to-read book will have you in tears from laughing. After you have recuperated from the giggles, get ready to learn about your body and how it operates. This book lets the reader know how too much or too little of a good thing affects their health and how this is revealed in their poop. I highly recommend this as a gift!

I highly recommend this to anyone who is fascinated or amused by bodily functions. This book manages to be both hilarious and educational. Everybody poops, and this book will have you nodding your head in agreement with many of the anecdotes.

My son gave this to his Grandmother for her 80th birthday. We had a blast reading it and discussing poo (which was sooner or later a topic at all of our family events, even prior to the book) All of my sisters want a copy...we laughed until we cried!

This book is awesome...a must buy!! I learned so much about the workings of my bowels while laughing my pooper off! You think you've got a great pseudonym for poo....it's in here. The authors really know their s**t! Great factoids about poo and you! Great gift idea!!
