Overview

A real-life guide to discovering the lost art of confession, Aaron Stern's new book will show readers what it means to enjoy a secret-free life. Everyone has secrets, whether sins, abuses, bad habits, or fears. As Stern reminds readers, secrets are destructive from the inside out. The good news is that confession is more powerful than secrets-and much more freeing than fear. In What's Your Secret? Stern shows readers what true confession is (and isn't), the dangerous roots of secret- keeping, the difference between "good" secrets and "bad" secrets, and why confession is crucial to healthy relationships with God and others. Drawing from true stories that are both funny and poignant, Stern illustrates the beauty of forgiveness and the joy that comes from living in the freedom God intends.
