Sad, True and Had to be Told

I understand every situation these women convey in this book. Love and violence does not go hand and hand, i know from experience. This book is an illustration of women can change and save their lives by understanding the people that pretend to love them by not overlooking the signs of anger and rage. Strongly recommend this book.

    Eye and Heart Opener

This book is a real heart opener. You must read it not only to learn from this book, but also to know the impact of domestic violence has on people we love and the minds of the perpetrators.

    Enjoyed it thoroughly!

A Relevant Reflection of Black Women and their struggle in relationships, and marriages. Black women ares suppose to be loved, and the black women in this book assert that love can be covered up in A monster pretending to love them. GREAT WORK!

    A Must Read

There are many books on abusive relationships - this book is by far the best I have ever read. Reading the traumatic experiences of the women help me to passionately overlook some mistakes in this book. But it is worth every penny, and I will be ordering the paperback version.

    An Excellent Piece of Work

The book was good and it provided insight on how black women view themselves in domestic violent relationships. Although I am a man, some of the experiences hit me hard, because I remembered what my mother went through. It Is a must read book! I Love everything about this book.

A Very Important Literature of The Times

This books expound realistically on important issues affecting Black America today. Although the lifestyles of these women are hurtful and tragic, this book wonderfully shed a light on why it is important to implement respect toward one another. I love every part of this book, and cannot wait to order the paperback version so i can read it often.
