LaShonda DeVaughn once again obliterates the competition in this

LaShonda DeVaughn once again obliterates the competition in this latest Anthology. She truly shows her strength in writing with her depiction of Sterling Weathers. Her description of his character brings every suspense readers dream to life. His cruelty knew no bounds and I found myself cringing along with Olivia every time he referred to her as his Rose. I couldn’t finish this book fast enough and what an ending! I happily devoured every delectable morsel of it!!

I am new to India’s writing however, I was instantly captivated and ensnared with her writing and how she brought the characters to life. I felt Stacey’s frustration with Jasmine’s inability to see King for the snake he was and I felt Jasmine’s shock and betrayal at her Best Friend for not telling her about her sisters involvement in the whole scandal….. I absolutely loved how she ended the story, when Jasmine finally let loose her wrath and revenge on King it was a thing of beauty! And I too felt the instant gratification settle down into my bones.

LaShonda Devaugh’s writing alone is a force to be reckoned with, LaShonda and India together……. Undisputed!!

First i would love to say never take a good woman for granted you know women can only take so much from a no good dog of a man see when you think you can get away with cheating then think again.

When A Woman Is Fed Up

I enjoyed all three of these stories. It is so sad how far could take you. Some people fall so deep that they never realize that love is a dangerous thing. One must know when you play with aanothers emotions or play decietful games that is a force to bereckoned with. All I can say it never take Love for granted.

    AMAZING, RELATABLE, REAL!!!

Once again Lashonda has dropped a book that most females can relate to. The characters in the stories are so relatable that I think everyone will see themselves in at least one of those characters. They were all amazing stories that I wish each author would consider writing a full story to continue where therse left off. I loved every single story. Good job Lashonda, India, and Tracee Boyd-Pratt...can't wait till the next book comes out!!!

This author is a very good writer

I like reading books written about times, places, and people I'm not familiar with first-hand, and this is one of them. These stories are written for young black women and the challenges that so many of them face; and the main message, I would say, is "do not let yourself be abused" by men; don't allow them to knock down your confidence in yourself. A very very good message for any woman. Had LaShonda DeVaughn not been such a good writer, I probably wouldn't have read all the stories, but she included lots of action and brings you along so that you always want to know what happens next.
