Overview

Bobbie McIntyre dreams of running a ranch of her own. Raised without a mother and having spent most of her time around men, she knows more about wrangling than acting like a lady. The friendship of her new employer awakens a desire to learn more about presenting her feminine side, but ranch life keeps getting in the way.

Ranch owner Jace Kincaid figures the Lord is testing his faith when a female wrangler shows up looking for work. Bobbie has an uncanny way of getting under his skin, though, and he's surprised when she finds a home next to his heart. But when his cattle begin to go missing and his wranglers are in danger from some low-down cattle thief, can Jace trust God, even if it may mean giving up on his dreams?

An adventurous novel of faith, hope, and love in the Wild West.

About This Series: Straight from the heart of the Old West, adventure, humor, and romance by award-winning novelist Janelle Mowery.

Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Jennifer Waldrop
When All My Dreams Come True is the first book in the "Colorado Runaway" series, and it starts the series off strong. Bobbie McIntyre is not your typical young adult heroine, which is fitting because this book does not read like your typical YA book. It is set in the 1800s, which gives Bobbie's character a sense of maturity that would not have translated into a modern setting. It was a time before Internet bullying, the mall, and prom. Instead, Bobbie faces proving herself in a male-dominated field, coming to terms with her religious views, and defending herself and the ranch. There is, of course, a romance as girls will fall in love no matter what the time period. Jace Kincaid owns the ranch that Bobbie is working on. It is not the main storyline, but a nice side story running alongside the action. If I could change one thing about the book, it would be less foreshadowing of the villain because as written it takes the suspense away. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Bobbie's adventures and am looking forward to more. Reviewer: Jennifer Waldrop
Library Journal
Raised by men, Bobbie McIntyre knows her way around a ranch. When she shows up on Jace Kincaid's ranch looking for a wrangling job, he hires her, though she gets under his skin. Soon, Bobbie is interested in exploring her feminine side in the hopes of attracting Jace. VERDICT For Western romance fans.

If you love non-stop action, gritty heroines, and rugged cowboys with godly values, this is the book for you. Janelle Mowery has crafted a fast-moving tale filled with cattle rustling, bank robbing, and even a mountain lion thrown in for good measure. Bobbie McIntyre is a tomboy heroine who can out-ride, out-shoot, and nearly out-wrangle any man she comes up against. Jace Kincaid is a godly man determined to make his father's ranch succeed but is beset by crisis after crisis. Thrown together unwillingly at first, they eventually make a formidable team as they face their obstacles together. There are times when the constant action impacted the characterization and left me wanting deeper insight into what made the hero and heroine tick, but for the most part, I found the cast of characters a delight. A quick read at 279 pages, readers who enjoy an action-packed western adventure, will find this a fun, wild ride.

Janelle Mowery is a wonder woman with this novel. This has it all, the real life. She has incorporated Loss, Sadness, Hope, Happiness and love. The true measure of being accepted and loved is in this book. GOD plays HIS part throughout the book and gives us much to think about and finally adding HIM to our hearts and minds. Don't hesitate to purchase this one and keep it close when times are letting your down. "It's not what happens that GOD grades us on-It's how we handle it" Pudgie

Of course harriet klausner has to come along with her cliff note book report and ruin the book. Come on bn, do something tl this poster already. About the book, even the great klaisner god praised it, it was not that good. To much preaching on every page took away from the story. A lot less preaching and the story would have been better.

This is a cute story that reminded me of an episode of the Lone Ranger, except with Bible lessons thrown in. It would be a great story for preteens or middle school kids.
