    Meet the Author


    Andy Pankhurst is a writer as well as a figurative painter with work represented in collections and museums in the U.K. and the United States. He teaches art at the Slade School of Fine Art in London, and is co-founder of The London School of Painting and Drawing.

    Lucinda Hawksley is a lecturer in art history and literature at the Institute of English Studies, London, and at the National Portrait Gallery, London.
