Coco the kitten is cuddly, fun and fullof mischief. What will she be like when she's a big grown-up cat?
Children's Literature - Marilyn CourtotKittens are cute and cuddly, but those who get them as pets may forget that the little balls of fluff will soon be full-grown cats. The young girl in this board book remembers all of the cute things her kitten did, such as playing with her tinkly ball and playing amusing games such as catch the mouse (a rubber one, of course). This little kitty was well cared for by a mistress who would get her out of trouble and who provided a cute little hat for her to snuggle up and nap in. Coco, the kitten, grew into Coco, the cat. Now, she can climb trees and walk on walls without falling off. Best of all, she still enjoys her toys and sleeps on the little hat. The illustrations show a wide-eyed kitten that becomes a large happy cat her mistress can barely lift. This is a great story for kids who dream of owning a kitten and for those who just adore felines. Part of the "Toddler Tales" series. Reviewer: Marilyn Courtot
