Overview

From J. Kenner, the New York Times bestselling author of Release Me and Claim Me, writing as J. K. Beck

FBI agent Alexis Martin knows that vampires exist—because one of them killed her sister. Assigned to investigate a series of bizarre homicides in Los Angeles, Alexis believes the murders are the work of rogue vampires—perhaps even the monster responsible for her sister’s death. Now she finally has a chance for retribution. Even better, Alexis receives unexpected help from a sexy stranger as hungry for rogue blood as she is.

Serge is a centuries-old bad boy who stays off the grid—keeping his secrets, his hunger, and his heart safe from exposure. A new breed of vampire that feeds off other shadowers, Serge finds sweet torture in Alexis’s arms. Loving her is a chance to be free from the hiding, the loneliness, the secrecy. But the truth about what he is, and what he’s done, may banish him to the dark confines of his own private hell—and destroy the beginnings of their love.

This is the fifth installment in Ms Beck's Shadow Keeper series. The world Ms Beck has created is flawless. She is able to blend the action with the romance. From the first page you will find yourself glued to your seat until the end. This book is a page turner. Be on the look out for the next book in this wonderful series, When Temptation Burns, on July 31, 2012.

    Loved it!!!

I just finished the book and just like the ones before this, it was good. Never doubt that it wasen't going to be. I love how all the characters cross over to the next book to keep the story line going. Her books are fun, full of sex, romance, humor and intrige. They will always keep you coming back for more. All the characters are addictive. I'm still trying to decide on my favorite couple. Love this series!!!!! Cant't wait for the next release in 10 days.
