Oh where to even begin? Well lets start with that AWESOME cover?

Oh where to even begin? Well lets start with that AWESOME cover? Karlie is looking so bad ass on there!! I love it. I would have picked it up just for that.

In this book of the Destiny Saga you have Major action, Suspense and Love! oh and ZOMBIES!!! How can you go wrong with that combo? The story falls right in with where we left the gang plus the one new witch Serenity. I loved how everything flowed and progressed it was fast paced and exciting!

Karlie is coming into her powers full force and man can she do some damage! Who can she trust is a factor and man it's hard to know. Shane sticks by her through and through though *sigh* When it looks like he is the only one left that she can count on, he's there.

New friends that come in are so flippin cool!!! I love Hugh and Jessica the most. They are on top of it. Funny and fierce they are written really well and fit in with the story well. This book had everything I wanted and TONS more for the follow up Heather delivered an amazing book and I cannot wait for MORE!!! I totally hit FanGirl Mode when I see soemthing new from Heather.

Also, the ending is OMG and She did it again.... She has the major endings and this one is no exception to the awesomeness!

When Destiny Strikes begins where When Destiny Knocks left off. Alex is seemingly dead and Serenity has disappeared and in league with Paymon. As the story progresses readers meet a new angel in town called Hannah, and dragon brothers, Hubert and Hugh. I have to say that Heather M. White creates her characters with flaws and bad attitudes, but it’s hard to dislike them. It’s different from the stories in which characters are so nice and so tolerable of each other. The Destiny Saga has, so far, given me a new way to appreciate how characters could interact with each other.

I wouldn’t classify this story as a romance. There are not a lot of kissing and deep emotional relationship scenes; just kids pretending to be in love. Really, Karlie claimed to love Shane, but would become jealous of Alex and Hannah. It was like reading in circles at some points.

As far as the story line, it wasn’t too much different from When Destiny Knocks. Epic adventures and plot twists around every corner. Things happen in the story that seemed like they were just thrown in to be a surprise or change the direction of the story. There is also a score of new evil creatures for Karlie to fight against, but as usual she takes care of them easy-peasy.

    Great second book!

Heather White has done it again with a great book you can get into! The book bulids up until the end as you see Karlie grow and the characters get stronger. Then the great end catastophe happens where you think you made it through with few casualties. Then BAM! Heather puts her famous surprise ending on the last page to keep you anxious for the next book. I fell more in love with Alex and wish there was more of him. I loved the couple POVs we got from him. Shane is great but it seems like I cheer for the underdog in this book, which is Alex. Hope to hear more about him in the next book. Recommend to young adults and old.

In the book you sind.more out about shane and his feelings about evert thing goig on. You also get to leauren about new things/people from there world. The only thing i did not like about this book wasthat i wish it was longer. The book is only 100 pages but well worth the money i only wish it could have been a little bit longer.
