Nice pace to it. Simple and relaxing for bedtime.

If you're only looking for computer generated images and flashy pictures then this isn't for you. The story has soft and friendly drawings that go with the relaxing words.

I try to read 1 story a week over the phone to my niece in Dallas. Daniel Errico has been a great go-to for me, and this book was no different. 'When Do Hippos Play' is a cute, fun story that your child, or niece!, will enjoy.

I was incredibly disappointed by this book. The illustrations look like something that a fifth grader did and the text was mediocre at best; how this guy got published I'll never know. It's not even worth having on my Nook - I've already deleted it.
