When life deals you lemons....
This book was written to my children during the holiday season. I wanted to gift them with something that was valuable and would benefit them in all aspects of their life. As I began to write, I realized that these lessons are not only beneficial to my children, but also to youth everywhere. Therefore, I decided to make it available for others to read and share. I hope that you find it helpful and encouraging.

About the Author

Tracey Flemming is a retired emergency medicine physician. She is married with 3 children. She obtained her master's degree while her husband was deployed to Korea and she worked as the medical director of a small ER. While training to compete in a body building competition, she was inspired by her trainer to open a cafe that offered healthier eating options. Therefore, she opened The Sidewalk Cafe. She renovated a historic building in downtown Sumter, which was the beginning of another chapter in her life. The cafe closed just prior to the onset of the CoVid pandemic. Due to the pandemic, Dr. Flemming focused all of her attention on working in the emergency department. During the course of the pandemic, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which required brain surgery and radiation treatments. Ultimately, she medically retired from medicine and reopened her cafe as a macaron bakery. She now spends her time developing new flavors of macarons and products associated with them. She's now a doctor of macarons. She has rebranded her company to Dr. Macaron's Bakery. When she's not at the bakery, you can find her supporting her kids at one of many sports activities.
