Unexpected Love!

Starr Avery is young and single with no children. After a visit to the doctor¿s office she finds out that her dreams of having children may never come true if she doesn¿t act fast. With no potential prospects to fall in love and have children with, reality sends her into a state of depression. Kevin Dawson is a certified ladies man who has no intentions of settling down. After a night in Vegas, Kevin and Starr¿s lives are changed forever. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas¿or does it? Not for Starr and Kevin. Vegas comes home with them and they have some big decisions to make. Kevin has to convince Starr that he¿s a changed man and ready to give her everything that she¿s ever dreamed of. Starr has to let go of the past before she can fully accept that Kevin is the answer to all her prayers. I must say that I fell for Kevin myself.

I enjoyed reading how these two come together and discover that their love was destined to happen. Victoria does a wonderful job of telling a realistic love story with many elements. There are a few surprises and shockers that will keep you turning pages. There¿s a great balance of love, supporting characters and subplots that make this a great story. Job well done! Highly recommended read! Can¿t wait for the next one!

Victoria Wells delivers again

I started out my first experience with this author on "Second Chance At Love", enjoyed it so much I went on a search for more. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed! I am not sure which story came first, but it is my intention to attempt to read all installments for this group of characters. I appreciate the fact that the characters have substance, they are believable, and that they give you hope in the word family. The stories are not cheesy and they give you a warm and fuzzy feeling about being in love. Kudo's to the author!

BRIEF SUMMARY
Starr has received news from her doctor that has her feeling depress. As she weighs her options on what to do, she unexpectedly finds herself in a situation with Kevin. Kevin is the ultimate player that is now questioning his days as a bachelor.

THOUGHTS (May contain spoilers)
This was a great follow up to "A Special Summer". Once again, the author has yet to disappoint me. Even though I read the series weeks ago out of order, I was still able to follow the characters throughout each book.

While attending a family/friend's wedding, Kevin and Starr accidentally got married. Starr was feeling depress about news of her health, so she decides to get drunk. The moment the story started, the characters took you in. It was also a bonus reading about them in "A Special Summer." Throughout the story, Starr and Kevin were deciding where to take their newfound dilemma. While deciding, drama started to unfold with their past relationships. This was a battle of the exes for both characters. This led to a great climax towards the end that made for an interesting to read.

As always, the author's supporting characters did not disappoint. It was great reconnecting with characters from book 1. I also loved Beverly, Kevin's mother. This was the final read of the series for me and I feel disappointed that I have to wait for more.

Story: GOOD
Intimacy: GOOD
Enjoyment: GOOD

INEXCUSABLE. FULL OF ERRORS

Ok, really? The storyline was tolerable and downright boring at times, but I hung in there to the end. I try to read books written by less popular authors, to give them a chance to compete, but I refuse to continue to pay money for books that are replete with editing errors and typos. This book had so many errors in it that I couldnt figure out what was being conveyed. The book may have been a little more appealing had I not had to play scrabble with missing words, usage of wrong characters and missing text. There's no excuse for it. If the author wants the reader to buy his/her work, give us a book that -- even if the story is weak -- it's readable. Get a proofer. This is the second book I've read by this author, and won't read another. You did it to yourself.
