This book thoughtfully challenges many basic assumptions through which we see God, ourselves, and each other. Thoroughly backed up by scripture, you will be asked to reevaluate what your "needs" truly are and where they will be met.

This book is filled with tons of insightful nuggets of information, that I have not found anywhere else in over 10 years of reading Christian books. I go back to this book often and never fails to help me. Biblically based, easy to relate to, Offers Practical help in overcoming many areas of christian life. Helpful in understanding the way we view ourselves, other people and God and how each effect the other.

Ed Welch has the God given ability to shed some light on some pretty ugly sin that occurs in most everyone's life, pride also known as 'fear of man'. I would highly recommend this to pastors and/or individuals to learn what it means to truly fear God and thus, change your walk with Him.
