Overview

Demons have come to kill, steal, and destroy. They take possession of lives, oppress believers and wreak havoc on the plans of God for His people. Could they be the source of YOUR struggles? Jesus did not say to counsel demons out or to medicate them out; He said, “Cast them out!” Every day, we give demons too much power when in fact, Jesus has given us authority to bind them and command them to leave. In When Pigs Move In, Don Dickerman delivers principles for deliverance, providing stories of men and women whose lives have been transformed because someone looked the devil right in the eye and commanded: “In Jesus’ name, get OUT!” Dickerman includes interviews and insight into such notable conversions as David Berkowitz (Son of Sam), Ed Ferncombe (one of Ireland’s worst criminals), and many others who have been delivered and set free.

This book is right on! Why don't preachers preach this from the pulpit? So plain, so scripturally accurate. It has certainly opened my eyes and given me hope. I recommend that every Believers read this book. Awesome!

I can think of few other books that have grabbed and retained my attention as well as When Pigs Move In did. Demonic oppression is real and much more common than any of us realize. This book will open your eyes and motivate you to take charge of the demonic spirits that inflict so much harm common to everyday people like you, me and everyone else around us. Too many times we try to council out, or medicate out things like anger, depression, fear and many other afflictions. Author Don Dickerman charges us with CASTING them out in the name and authority of Jesus Christ! Reading this book will totally change your perspective on the way you look at yourself and the lives of others.

This is a very well written, easy to understand book using true life testimonials that, although it may rock a person's world, needs to be read. Whether the cover graphics or title put you off, the old saying "know your enemy" really fits here. I recommend that everyone read this book and then decide what to do with the information, rather than choose not to read it and remain in the dark.

This is an excellent book which builds on Pigs in the Parlor, by Frank Hammond. Don Dickerman didn't set out to be a deliverance minister, but while working in prison ministry, found himself there. The need is great in our prisons. But not in prisons only. There are many struggling Christians whose stories Mr. Dickerman relates, who have been delivered from demons when they didn't even know demonds were bothering them. They only knew something was very wrong. The testimonies are extremely inspiring and the knowledge he shares has helped my family greatly. We are often afraid of demons, but Mr. Dickerman teaches us the power we have in the name of Jesus and how to use this power to be set free.

As a person who works in deliverance ministry, I found this book to be informative, scriptural sound and a great reference tool.

A single black robed man stood waiting in the middle. A black hood was covering his face.

I was looking for a model on biblical deliverance. Which is one chapter of this book. The rest of the book is accounts of deliverance or encounters with demons. And some of the chapters are titled "where demons go?" and "who satan is?". This is not necessarily a bad book. I didn't think there was strong biblical basis for some of his claims. Also, some of the scriptures he quoted were a bit out of context and didn't really support his claim. The one chapter on deliverance was good the rest wasn't what I was looking for
