When Somebody Loves Youby Alan Jackson
On his marvelous self-portrait of a new album, Alan Jackson stands up for distinctly Southern common pleasures and plain folk. "Meat and Potato Man," whose casual two-step pace suits the artist's laid-back personality to a tee, offers praise for a host of simple pleasures -- of well-done steaks, Monday Night Football, ice-cold beer, hot women, and Merle Haggard songs. On a tough country-rocker, "Where I Come From," the Dixie native finds himself a fish out of water up north, besieged by Yanks who will never understand those aforementioned simple pleasures. Jackson also asserts his regional pride in a feisty honky-tonk rouser whose title says it all: "It's Alright to Be a Redneck." But the album isn't all good-old-boy swagger, since it also finds Jackson delivering some of the most heartfelt ballads of his career. The powerful title song is a tender, lilting vow of devotion; the flip side of that equation is "I Still Love You." And in "www.memory," this bastion of traditionalism takes on the Internet in summoning his loved one.

I'm never afraid to buy an Alan Jackson C.D. Always know I'm going to love the music.
Alan is about as true to country as you are going to get in this day and age! George and Alan all the way. When Alan recorded the duet 'Murder on Music Row' with GS, he did all of us country fans a favor in telling how much country has been ruined by Garth Tim and Faith. This CD just proves how much AJ loves country and he will keep it coming to us all. You go AJ & Keep it Country!
Alan Jackson started singing in a gospel church in Georgia when he was a young boy. When he was twenty years of age he began to perform music as a profession. Music was his hobby when he was a youngster. He only wrote songs in his spare time. Denise, his wife, a fight attendant helped play a major part in sitting Jackson on his way down the road to Nashville. In 1991, his second album, ¿Don¿t Rock the Jukebox¿ went double- platinum. The song WWW.Memory is a slow song, but it is a very neat song to listen to because it makes you think about memories. He has an awesome collection of CD¿s. The song that would make people cry would be ¿Life or Love¿ since it makes you think of family members. He is a true country singer and he has a good soul. It will be interesting to see what his next album will feature.
Alan jackson is a great singer, songwriter. When he first releases a C.D,I don't have to wonder if I'm going to like it or not! I just put it on and know I didn't waste my money!
What a awesome collection of music everything from soft and mellow and loving to fun truck driving music. The beat of the music and the fact that he wrote 5 of the songs, that mean something to his life makes it more enjoyable.
after hearing another great alan jackson cd an also love how he wrote 5 out of the ten songs on the cd also if you ever have a chance to see a really good concert go see him i am going to see him next february this will be my 3rd time seeing him alan you did it again
THIS ALBUM IS ANOTHER GREAT EXAMPLE OF REAL COUNTRY WITH THE SMOOTH FANTASTIC VOICE OF A TOP NOTCH SINGER, ALAN JACKSON. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS IN YOUR COUNTRY MUSIC COLLECTION.
