I purchased this book three months after my Grandfather's diagnosis with Liver Cancer. My Grandmother and Mother were the primary caregivers him, I tried to assist and much as I could. It was a helpless and frightening feeling for all of us not really knowing what to expect and not really knowing how to comfort his various pains and symptoms. This is a fast book to read and has an easy reference guide. While many of the symptoms and issues we had already gone through were in the book, it provided great comfort to know that we were not alone. It also provided us with preparation for what to expect in the future and suggestions for ways to comfort the cancer patient. My Grandfather passed away not long after my book purchase. However, the short time that I had this as a reference, it was excellent. I have additionally referred this to other friends and acquaintences when I have learned that someone they love has cancer. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
