Overview

After the death of her husband, Pastor Hezekiah Cleaveland, Samantha has been installed as the interim pastor of New Testament Cathedral. She's also become the head of the international television ministry, but not everyone is happy about it.
Danny St. John was having an affair with Samantha's husband before he was assassinated in the pulpit one Sunday. Danny is convinced that Samantha had her husband murdered, and he wants revenge.
Cynthia Pryce, the wife of the church's assistant pastor, Reverend Percy Pryce, wants to see her husband become the church's permanent pastor. She's working behind the scenes to see that Samantha is removed from the position.
Gideon Truman, a well-known investigative reporter, believes that solving the murder of Pastor Cleaveland will establish his career as the black Anderson Cooper. He starts rummaging through the skeletons in Samantha's closet in his quest for the truth.
Danny, Cynthia, and Gideon all desire to take Samantha down for different reasons. They might be underestimating the cunning and dangerous nature of their prey, though. Samantha has a secret that she's willing to go to any length to protect, and she doesn't care who she has to destroy in the process.

    Again to Much Fluff
The book was drama filled and I loved it. Samantha is truly a woman to be reckon with, but definitely not a woman of God. The ending definitly left you wanting to go to the final book in this triology.I have already purchesed it and can't wait to continue. Again however the Author really needs to get away from all of that unnecessary excessive description of what someone is wearing, the landscape, room decor, cars and other description of inept things that add nothing to the book and what is going on. One or two words would suffice. It slows down the book. Truly a great sequel, just leave out the unnecessary "FLUFF:

    what happend.?

Just like the first book......horrible ending. So many questions left unanswered. What happend to jasmine, david and gideon? Did the e-mails ever reach the press? Somethings are better left unsaid but the majority of the book.....no.

    Pastor Samantha Cleaveland - OMG!

Pastor Cleaveland is ruthless, powerful and downright dirty! She stops at nothing to retain her empire! Great Read with twists and turns.

    Looking forward to trilogy

Although this sequel was not as mesmerizing as the first in this series, it is still a good read. Although the ending makes you loathe Samantha even more, I am thankful that there will be another installment that will hopefully lead to Samantha getting what she deserves.
