School Library Journal
PreS-K When baby goes to bed, various stuffed animals climb in to join him, one at a time. And thus this brief counting book, told in rhyme, is created. The illustrations are colorful, but they don't convey a bedtime mood with warmth and coziness. The book's size is small, to fit young hands. As a bedtime counting book, it is only mediocre in a field that is full of books of higher quality, most notably Gerstein's Roll Over! (Crown, 1984) and Molly Bang's Ten, Nine, Eight (Greenwillow, 1983).Gayle D. Celizic, Roosevelt School Library, Cleveland
