Liam is a new father struggling to adapt to life with a baby. With insomnia and paranoia growing with each passing night, he wonders if the taps on the windows and mysterious faces at the door are all in his head. He'll find out the terrifying truth soon enough...when the black-eyed children knock.

When the Black-Eyed Children Knock is a short yet superbly suspenseful read. You'll never hear a knock at the door after dark in the same way.

* What are the Black-Eyed Children? *

According to urban legend, and to those claiming to have met them firsthand, black-eyed children (aka black-eyed kids) knock on doors of houses late at night. They seek help from the unfortunate residents and ask to be invited inside.

Most people would go out of their way to help children in need, but something isn't right about these kids. Maybe it's their jet black eyes or their robotic way of talking. Maybe it's their unusual clothing. Maybe it's the feeling of dread they seem to radiate at anyone who looks at them. Either way, their request is usually denied, the door slammed shut, once the homeowners get a look at those disturbing eyes.

* BONUS *

This collection of horror includes five more short stories and one true tale from the author.
