this third in the cookie series is better than the first two. l

this third in the cookie series is better than the first two. livie and maddie are working to put the finishing touches on the big celebration for chatterly heights' 250 anniversary, when paine chatterly and his wife show up in town. not too notable except he is supposed to be dead. it throws a monkey wrench into the party when he refuses to let the town tour the manor house. the town has paid a lot of money to refurbish this place and are miffed. paine is then murdered, and there are many that could have done it. the reasons vary, but all are buried about 30 years in the past. one of the big reasons is the fact that there are valuable cookie cutters missing. livie and maddie are curious and get involved much to the dismay of her boyfriend, police chief del. so, who done it? and why? are there cookie cutters? if so where are they? the mysteries abound in this story. the only way to find out is to read this wonderful story. i'm glad i did!
