Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Goldberg, a urologist and founder of the Male Health Institute in Dallas, believes that women in general are better informed about health than men. When it comes to health matters, many men live in denial, ignore pain, take risks, suppress emotion, and act aggressively. Therefore, this men's health guide is addressed primarily to women. It provides the practical advice and medical information about men's health issues that women need to keep the men in their lives well and to encourage healthy lifestyles. Along with the The People's Medical Society Men's Health and Wellness Encyclopedia (LJ 5/1/98), this is a good, up-to-date selection for men's health collections.--James Swanton, Harlem Hosp. Lib., New York

    FILLS AN IMPORTANT NEED

This book could very well become a best-seller since it is written very well and explains complicated medical knowledge in layman's language. it fills an importan need since most men arent prone to take care of their medical problems. any doctor will confirm this fact, by telling you it is mostly the women who push for a pian free resolving of their illness when at all possible. in short a very good book.
