Chapter One

Simon's family loved TV. They watched TV in the morning, TV in the afternoon, and TV every single night.

They even ate their dinner while watching TV. They did not like to play outside. They did not like to play games. They simply liked to watch TV.

One night, a light snow began to fall. And it fell and fell and fell, and the wind blew colder and colder, until —BLOOP!—the TV went out! The whole house became very quiet and very dark, and so they went to bed.

In the morning, they all sat and stared at each other for a looooong time, not knowing what to do. The TV was blank, not working, not doing anything!

Great book for all ages!! My kids are 5 and 2 and they both love it

This book reminds us all that family time is fun and important. I love the illustrations and the fact that the brother and sister enjoy playing with each other and aren't fighting! Great book
