More About This Book

Overview

James Walker went to town in hopes of gaining more land for his family. When he returns home and finds his wife and daughter brutally abused and murdered he vows to get his revenge. He rides out on what becomes years worth of hunting for the men who did this.

James has a sneaking suspicion who killed his family though-but will he ever be able to find him? Traveling from town to town with just his horse and the bare necessities, James uses his skills from the Civil War to seek the deepest revenge he's ever felt.

With nothing in mind other than his late wife and their thirteen year old daughter, James doesn't plan on meeting and falling in love. But is he betraying his family? Can he love someone with this unfinished business?

As years pass and James still hunts, many tell him to give up. But he knows he can never live-or love-until he has fulfilled his vow to his wife and their only child.

When the Storm God Rides is a captivating story of life after the Civil War and how far one man will go to avenge for his family.
