Scott brings a fascinating background to everything he writes. From big city USA Detroit...to small town, Canada Medicine Hat. He knows both milieus intimately. He knows the automotive industry, high finance, and real estate from the perspective of an entrepreneur and a worker. A candidate for public office, he is skilled at the art of politics. A genuine student of human nature, he knows what makes people tick, what's important to them. His writing is honest, provocative, and controversial: always a good read.

I am not usually a fiction reader, but this novel kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. I read it in one sitting, I just could not put it down. Every chapter was exciting and informative. In spots it was more of a self help/textbook. But never stuffy or boring. It was as if the characters became real, friends and enemies of your own experience. The last loose end doesn't get tied until the last page. By the middle of the book you will hate the villin and love Brad and Alison. In spots you will laugh and in others lose your breath. I can't endorse it high enough, It would be a great Christmas gift. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
