This was one of Barbara Freethy best books ever. It took me about 3 days to read it and I couldn't get over the fact that everything turned out they way they wanted it to be. It's hard for someone to be sad so long about a inssitent like she did! It took great courrage to walk in the store after all that time. This book was great i recomeneded this book to my friend she said she loves it!

I read the third book, " Just a Wish Away" first. It is the best of the three I have read of thus series. I read in several reviews there are plans for more. The editing in "When Wishes Collide" is terrible. There is a bit of mystery to this predictable love story. I think if the books followed the members or friends of the same family, this series would be better, as it is the wish books are more like stand alone books then a related series. This book is a little over 350 pages. There is an excerpt at the end for "Just a Wish Away." There is a non gory murder in this book and some sex. I read it in an afternoon, so it goes pretty fast. I was disappointed in the caliber of this book, yet it was interesting to see how much the author improved her writting skills with book three. I would recommend this book to lovers of romances ages eighteen and up, because the unmarried sex is rather steamy.

I love and have ready almost all of Barbara Freethy's books. They always provide a great romance and mystery in one and When Wishes Collide did not disappoint.

An easy "feel-good" read.
A circle of life...
tragedy strikes, sadness takes over, love comes around and healing begins...

Usually I prefer Barabara Freethy's suspense/romance stories, but this was a sweet story, and one that resonated at this point of my life. I always enjoy Freethy novels.
