This book speaks to women where they hurt the most, filling the hole in their hearts with God's truth. It's very readable- the chapters are long enough to get the point across but no longer, each one drawing on personal experiences, examples from contemporary women, and illustrations from the Bible. Cindi engages her readers with a very personable, conversation tone, making reading the book a pleasure, not a chore. My favorite aspect of the book is that at the end of each chapter, she suggest five things to do. These might include reading a certain passage of Scripture, finding a friend to share your heart with on a particular topic, making a list of ways God intends to bless you (based on Bible verses), and taking an area of concern to God in prayer.
