All Music Guide - Stephen Thomas Erlewine
On her debut album, When You Lie Next to Me, vocalist Kellie Coffey comes across like a more approachable Faith Hill -- her polished country-pop is every bit as urbane, yet it doesn't feel as glamorous, a little more down to earth. It's an appealing sound, especially since her voice is warm and friendly, and this is produced as professionally as it can be from Dann Huff, who keeps Coffey's voice at the forefront, letting certain flourishes -- the occasional steel guitar run, a little bit of keyboards and guitars -- peep out from the warm wash of the instrumental backdrop. With repeated plays, the best of these songs -- whether they're pleasant mid-tempo numbers ...

    A breath of fresh air.

When I heard Kellie sing "When You Lie Next to Me", I thought I was dreaming. She is what singing is all about! Her voice is like a breath of fresh air. She has inspired me to listen to music again.

The Celine Dion of country music

This is one of the best CDs ever. Every song on it is great. Kellie sounds alot like Celine Dion. She has one of the best voices in country music. I can't wait to go see her in concert. I see a female vocalist of the year award in the near future. Kellie Coffey is the best singer in country music right now. When her fan club comes out, she will have a life long member in me.

    New Country Queen

Kellie Coffey is the best female country singer to come around in a long time. I hope she stays around for a long time. She has the best voice in country music today. I can hardly wait for her next CD to come out.

    Beautiful New Voice

I bought this album having only heard the song ''When You Lie Next To Me'' on the radio. I thought that her voice kind of reminded me of Faith Hill. I was so blown away by every single song on the album that I went back to buy copies for my friends! She is definitely one of the best country music artists to come along in quite some time.
