    Not good

Typos;problems with past and present tense;spelling errors-- somebody please edit this book! The heroine wasnt flighty--she came off as either stupid or desperate. There was no lol moment for me. Thumbs down

Potential likely with improved editing and spell check

I thought the story line was good but couldnt get used to the author using obvious male names for the sisters. The typos were also annoying but i was determined to get to the end.

    So So Read !!!!

The story line, plot and all were good. There were so many grammatical errors that I had to re-read and back track so that what I last read made sense. Maybe that is why it was so cheap.

    A Sweet Romantic Comedy

Okay, I am now officially a 'Byrd Watcher'. I will definitely be seeking out ALL future novels from Ms. Byrd. 'When You Were Mine' is the second book in the Adams Family series and you will not be able to put this book down until the last page. I LOVE this family, they are funny as all get out! This book was HILARIOUS! The characters, main and secondary will definitely having you LOL at their antics throughout this novel. It was like watching a very entertaining romantic comedy. The storyline flowed effortlessly and the dialogue was quite witty. The chemistry between Ryan and Joey was electric. The love scenes were definitely HOT! I thoroughly enjoyed the verbal sparring between this couple. Ryan was definitely a man that knew how to sweep a girl off her feet, whether he was pretending or not, brother had it goin' on! I thought it was sweet the way he was always placed in a position to be Joey's 'guardian angel' or her Knight in shining armor. And Joey and all her 'spur of the moment' ideas were simply priceless. This was a very sweet, romantic read!

    Mrs. D_ A Showstopper

This book was a great one to read, I loved every thing about it. I read it all in one day because I couldn't seem to put it down. The storyline just kept getting better and better with each chapter I read. I can't wait until part two comes out, if it hasn't already. I would recommend this book to anyone to read.

    FUNNY AND SMART

In book two of the 'Adam sisters' We have screenwriter Joey Adams who ASSUMES that her boyfriend is going to pop the question. Why you ask? Because she has been snooping and found a receipt for jewelry and besides it's Valentine day. Well everyone know what happens when you assume. Joey has been dumped, the ex 'Larry' has a new women, and has moved on. Joey is not going to give up on her good man. So Joey has a chance meeting with Hollywood Director Ryan Donovan. Please try if you can to read this scene when they first meet without laughing. Ryan figures Joey is just prone to mishaps, but that is what makes her so likeable. So Ryan figures out a way to help her and get a little help with his 'problem' Ryan tells Joey he will help her 'PRETEND' like they are engaged to make Larry Jealous. Keep in mind Joey is not sure if Ryan is a friend or Foe, but because of certain circumstance Joey has agreed to his offer. Besides Joey is GOING to get her man back? The cat and mouse of the book made it such a fun read. The plan works a little too well. Larry wants Joey, Catalia wants Ryan, Ryan wants Joey, and poor Joey is just confused. Adrianne does a good job and making the whole book funny and smart. Plus you get to catch up with the rest of the Adams Family. I read it and thought this would be a good movie that I wouldn't mind spending 9 dollars for. There are so many touching moment's as well as some truths for everyone besides Joey and Ryan. Joey grew up and found the real love happens right before your eyes or in a bathroom. My only complaint. Hurry with the rest of the series.

    Determined to get her man...

Valentine's day has never been kind to Joey Adams but after finding a credit card receipt from a jewlery store purchase belonging to her boyfriend Laurence she just knows this year will be different. In fact she was expecting him to 'pop' the big question...but what she gets is being dumped for another woman. But Joey refuses to give up and it's while she's in the midst of one of her schemes to get 'Larry' back that she meets hollywood director Ryan Donovan. Now Ryan has been experiencing his own 'little' problem which seems to reverse itself whenever Joey is near. Being quite amused and attracted to Joey, Ryan decides to 'help' her get her man back. Join them as they travel from the west coast to Milan, Italy on their quest for love. When You Were Mine is the second book in the Adams Sisters series and you will not be able to put this book down until the last page is turned and the last word is read. Whether you're an Adrianne Byrd fan or new to her books you are in for a treat.

    A Reflection of Your Family

After reading When You Were Mine, I realize that Joey's sisters are a lot like mine. The interaction between the sisters and their dialgoue bought back fond memories of my sisters. The book within itself is very entertaining and will have you laughing at some of Joey actions. I have always been a fan of Adrianne Byrd and after reading this book, I can't wait to see what Miss Byrd have in store for the Adams Family
