Marguerite Benjamin Parker is currently an instructor of English and communication at Pitt Community College in Greenville, NC, and has taught composition and technical writing on the college level for over twelve years. Parker received graduate and undergraduate degrees from East Carolina University and has used her expertise in higher education as well as in the business sector as a freelance writer and business stationery designer.

She has also published for the gifting industry in which she has worked as an independent business owner for over a decade before branching into self-publication.

A Debt Too Deep was released in 2007. Where Credit Is Due, the sequel to that novella, followed in 2010.
