I typically do not write a review but I really felt the need to

I typically do not write a review but I really felt the need to with this book. I thought overall it was a good book but there were some points of this book that I wasn't sure I could finish reading it. First of all, the fact that he kept calling her baby even though he didn't know her was a bit too much for me. I felt that was a bit ridiculous.
Second of all, the amount of swearing in this book is a huge turnoff. I am not opposed to swearing and I do it often but the fact that every other word is a four letter word is a bit much. Ben is a bit aggressive and uses terrible language to get his point across, which is a huge turnoff to me.
I don't know. I don't think I would recommend this book to anyone but overall it wasn't a terrible read but as a warning, if you don't like excessive swearing, possessive men, or ridiculous scenarios, then I wouldn't buy this book.

A Steamy One Night Stand between enemies.....

Cute storyline with Hot, Hot, Hot bedroom scenes. The witty banter, dragon slaying, and sexual tension make this book a winner. Hoping for more Alabama summer books!

    Ok read

Great start...girl moves away...comes back to spend summer with BFF. Apprehensive to see brother of her pal that tormented her growing up. Has one night stand with said man. They have no idea who the other really are, yet they are both smitten. They find out their past connection and the hero has some work to do to really gain her trust. I am sold up until there....then the baby mama of hero gets arrested for duii with kid in car and drama comes down....then instead of comforting e/o....wild sex....then her mom dies and he gets shot.....with in hours of that they are going to pound town in his truck....I am all about sex scenes...but when there should have been emotional connections in this book.....wild sex was used. Not believeable...book had great potential, but fell short.

The story was very predictable but I still enjoyed it.  I didn't mind the swearing or the bedroom scenes.  I got so into the story that I didn't want to put it down.  I stayed up way too late and picked it up again the next morning to finish it.

Just way too out of reach to feel real. Vulgar. There was some heavy stuff going on and yet it felt rushed through as if to say, its not that important. Bothered that i spent anything on it.

    Great Read

This was such a good book I read it in one night. Couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the next book in the series. Mia and Ben have known each other since there were kids. Mia is best friends with Bens younger sister Tessa. Ben and Mia can't stand each other. At age 14 Mia's family moves to another state to take care of her sick grandmother. Years later Mia goes back to Alabama to spend the summer with her best friend Tessa but decides she needs to lose her v-card before her summer starts. What she dosent count on is finding out the guy she lost it to was Ben. The boy who made her child hood misrable. Will Mia be able to get past who Ben was as a young boy verses the man he has become?
