Great Illustrations and a very funny story!

The detail on these illustrations is absolutely incredible. The story line and the pictures work very well together. I was very impressed by the unbelievable detail in the illustrations as were my children. They asked so many questions and I honestly had fun explaining. I actually found humor in this book myself. Honest! Most children's picture books don't come close to this kind of detail anymore. I've never given a review before but after reading this book a few times I just had to express how well done this book really is. I will definitely check out any other books illustrated by Bonnie Leick the next time I visit Barnes and Noble. Thank you.
