Overview

“Where The Wildflowers Grow” is the second in the Annie series. This book picks up where “Cattails In The Lake” closes. From my loyal readers I was told the ending of “Cattails In The Lake” SCREAMS for another book. So, I wrote “Where The Wildflowers Grow.” The story picks up with Annie and Ezra. They are young and very smitten with each other. Ezra learns the true meaning of the word “crush.” They come from two totally different backgrounds. Can a farm girl and big city boy have a meaningful relationship? The story has drama, humor, romance and intense emotions in certain situations. It is an excellent book for teens and preteens who are first learning the meaning of a romantic relationship. The story takes place in the mid-1960’s. You will enjoy this book no matter if you are 8 years old or 80 years old.

Meet the Author

I lived in Kentucky all my life until July of 2013 we moved to Evansville, Indiana. I am a licensed cosmetologist in both states. I owned my own salon and also, in years past, worked for Clinique at Macy's. I am now retired and spend most days either writing or painting. I am married to Carl Duncan and have two children, Michele and Jamie. I have a grand daughter Cassidy. I enjoy Zumba, gardening, riding bicycles, walking, painting and of course writing. I plan on adding more books to Smashwords. I am very diverse in what I write. I write poetry, children's books, Christian monologues in rhyme, and songs. I have had poems published and also had my dramatic monologues performed. I am very passionate about writing and hope you enjoy reading what I write. God bless!
