~Reviewed by ANN & posted at Under the Covers Book Blog Peter Lomax and Carver Fleming are in love with each other, but that doesn’t mean everything is hearts and roses between them. Though their relationship is on steady ground, Carver wishes to make the move from the city to Colt, Kentucky where his family is. Asking Peter, a ATF agent, is going to be difficult. However, Carver is hoping that a holiday fun with his family will convince him. Short and sweet, WHERE YOU LEAD is a funny and endearing read by one of my favourite authors of this genre. Mary Calmes is so readily able to infused her stories with humor and heart. You can’t help but enjoy the characters. I feel like with every single one of Calmes’s books, the characters are so likeable, filled with personality and that, in turn, makes you care about them for the duration of the book. Whether it’s a full length novel, or a short story like this, you enjoy yourselves from start to finish. *ARC provided by publisher

I love everything Mary writes. Wish it was longer and the characters more developed, but other than that awesome.

This less than two hour audio is quick tale. It had a feel of a support novella but I’m not sure to what or if it is. I just felt like these charaters already had a life before I got them. We’ve Carver who has been with Peter for six months, and this is a very serious relationship for both MC’s. But Carver has been keeping a secret from Peter, and is going to break it to him while on Holiday at his family home and home town. Peter, loves him completely, but hates secrets, lies and deceptions. So when he finds what Carver has done, he doesn’t know if he can recover. So this is basically about one guy manipulating the situation, the town and family to get what he wants. Luckily, Peter, is kind enough to first give push back but then see the bigger picture. I think if I read this book and it wasn’t up for review, I probably would have not finished it, I’m not a fan of characters acting this way. However, the narration was amazing and really made the difference. Book 2 Narrator 5 Overall 3 I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review by Crystals Many reviewers

I have yet to read characters created by Mary Calmes that I didn't fall in love with from page one and Peter and Carver are no different. I would love to read more stories featuring this pair but for now I am content adding this amazing holiday tale to my Christmas library.

BEWARE only 59 pages . The buyer should be warned. Shame, shame on the writer. Had to give one star-not able to give "ZERO" stars.
