    great for young toddlers

I bought this book on a whim after Storytime at B&N for my 18mo old daughter. It has great illustrations of animals with the key feature pointed out. My daughter caught on to the Mommy ID concept after the first read. We play the "Is that your Mommy" game a lot now and she jumps on me and hugs me at the end. I've extended it to "Is that your Daddy" as well. She kisses the Mom Penguin at the end of the end of the book as well still enjoying rereads. For the price (it was marked Bargain at the store), it has been a fantastic value and a surprisingly great find.

    I Also Recommend:

    Great for 2-4 year olds!

I used this book with speech/language impaired preschool children. The repetition of phrases was excellent reinforcement of vocabulary and good introduction to some common adjectives; cute enough to catch their attention and short enough to keep it.

    Great Book for Little Ones

My 16 month old son absolutely LOVES this book!!! He always wants us to read it to him. I wish the author had more books, because I would definitely buy them.
