Where's My Zen?: A Parable of the Ten Paradoxes
Spend a few enjoyable hours exploring Paul Harrison’s bestselling book: Where’s My Zen. In this parable, you’ll follow three travelers on an exotic journey to find their Zen. They “accidentally” encounter Master Nomi on an unforgettable night filled with enlightening experiences and ancient Zen secrets. Along the way, you’ll get your appetite whet for the rest of the Zen Advantage Program.

Join Master Nomi as he reveals the Ten Paradoxes to three travelers looking for their Zen. They mystically encounter the Hut of the Blind Donkey in Japan. This small hilltop monastery where Master Nomi lives serves as the backdrop for an unforgettable night filled with enlightening experiences and ancient Zen secrets. Through the Ten Paradoxes, Master Nomi reveals that our minds are trained from birth to be overly analytical. We over-think and over-analyze; we feel we must identify and name everything in order to understand how each thing fits into our world. We never objectively perceive reality as it is. We block our intuitions, inspirations, creativity, psi functions (higher perception), and spiritual awareness. As the Master says, we simply lose our Zen and inevitably suffer the consequences.

We no longer move through life with the fluency and vibrancy of youth. We lose the play. We lose the flow. We begin to look for a way to once again find our inner contentment and ponder the question, Where's my Zen? Experiencing your Zen breaks the illusion and limitations of the overly analytical mind, so through No Mind you can actualize the mind's full, limitless potential.

Master Nomi maintains that awareness, liberated from the constraints of your conditioned self, your ego or I-illusion, is then free to flow into all areas of your life sports, health, business, relationships, spirituality, and academics leading to reduced stress, peak performance, and deep inner contentment. We realize through his wisdom that there can be no literal answer to Master Nomi's koan, Where's my Zen? We can only experience it.

We are born with enlightenment, then we lose it. Now, following the path of No Mind, we can experience it again. So join Master Nomi as he opens the gateless gate...

About the Author

Paul Harrison, AIA, is the author of the books Where’s My Zen? and The Ten Paradoxes: The Science of Where’s My Zen?, written under the pen name Master Nomi. An architect by trade, Paul has had a passion for Zen for the past 30 years. He has studied both the practices of the ancient Zen masters and the latest medical neuroscience—and found they dovetail and support each other in amazing ways. With this knowledge, he created the Zen Advantage Program (ZAP) for the everyday person, distilling all this work into three clear, practical processes which can be applied to all areas of life: business, relationships, academics, athletic, and home.

Using these three processes—detailed in his seminars and book, The Ten Paradoxes: The Science of Where’s My Zen?—as the guiding principles for his life, Paul continues to build health, wealth, and happiness. You can, too!I teach REAL Zen. I’ve done years of work that you don’t have time for—and probably don’t want to do! I discovered the tools of the ancient masters and intensely studied the latest neuroscience that supports their insights and techniques. From that knowledge came the Zen Advantage Program. This program can help you find Zen in your everyday life’s moments.
