Let me tell you, this sleuthing thing is no joke. We've worked with Nancy on lots of cases, but we've never had to do it ourselves — and the stakes have never been so high. We think this might have to do with that possible museum theft Nancy was talking about — we're just not sure yet. But we're woking on it.
Wish us luck!

    more from this reviewer

Cool and cute, but not what I would deem as a "super mystery"

I picked this book up TODAY, and just finished it. I was always intrigued by the plot, but was a bit skeptical because of a few bad reviews this got. I went ahead and went with the glass-half-full and read it anyway. This book in no way stood up to my expectations. I expected more tense moments with like ransom calls from kidnappers and stuff. But, sadly, there was none of that. At least there wasn't enough of Nancy where I freaked out about how she's a total airhead in this series. It's sort of refreshing to have the narration take place other than from Nancy's point of view. I found it hilarious that everyone who Bess and George approached asked them "Where's Nancy?", and George began to wonder if people only thought of them as Nancy's accessories. Unfortunately, in this particular series, they are. I'm sad to admit that some of the clues were sort of predictable. I pieced together the thing with the dog trainer pretty easily. My least favorite part of this story is what ended up happening when Nancy disappeared. Really, Nancy, really? Eh, in this series, I'm not surprised. In conclusion, this is a fun pick-me-up book, but not exactly a great addition to an avid- Nancy Drew- lover fan's collection. Take my advice, and pick this one up at the library before you spend money on a copy.

    Rocks!

I loved this book! It was so awsome, and I just had to find ot more! The only thing I disliked was that it could have had more action, and I didn't like how cheif mcguiness was a total grouch, and doesn't like Nancy. In the older books, he's friends with Nancy!

    okay.... not great

this book was ok, although it didn't really have any action. First of all, it repeated stuff it already had said before such as bess and george. They always complained that they couldn't find Nancy. Plus, it had said that Officer cheif mginnis wasn't very fond of nancy when they were good friends in the older series. You could tell that whoever wrote this book is a different author than the older series.

    Read This Book!!!!!

This book was great! I especially liked it because for once bess and george solved the mystery(They are usually left out)and for once Nancy gets captured. When I started reading it I wasn't sure if I liked it because Nancy wasn't in the first part, but then it got very exciting! Please read this book!

It's Nancy Drew... With A Twist

This book was good, and it was definetely a different idea than most Nancy Drew Books. You see, this time Nancy is missing. The storys point of view changes from George to Bess with each chapter. This book was good, but what made me give it four stars was because the ending wasn't very good. But overall, I did enjoy the book!

    A little Different...................

This book was alright but it wasn't that great. In this book Bess, George and Ned have to find Nancy and solve the case. I didn't enjoy it as much because there wasn't a lot of action. The characters just wandered around and the book was very slow for me and not very suspenseful. If you like Nancy Drew books though, I suggest you read this book.
