Editorial Reviews

Your company is planning to perform Titus Andronicus, and you want publisher. No index. Very light bibliography. Distributed by Taylor & Francis. an edition that includes the stage directions used in the 18th century; you are doing a treatise on the sonnets and need quick access to the variant texts; you want to buy a complete works for your niece, who would be put off by scholarly apparatus. Here you can find descriptions of many modern editions, and comparisons between competing editions, of the works, each play, the poems, and the sonnets. You have to wade through the whole section you are interested in, however, since the editions are listed chronologically by Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
