Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
The magic wand lands Katie Kazoo in quadruple trouble in this zestful European travelogue. Katie's vacation plans didn't include successive switcheroos into a Buckingham Palace guard, a Spanish flamenco dancer, a Venetian gondolier, and a Parisian artist! Magic for girls, ages 7-10.\

    Must Read

A young girl named Katie couldn¿t wait to go to somewhere special. She always travels around the world with her Dad to different places, like Africa, parts of Egypt, South America, Asia, Antarctica, and Australia. This time she went to London, England with her Mom and Dad. The first time she was there she, was on a tore bus looking at the Queens Castle. Suddenly she heard a voice saying, Wow, Look how pretty the castle looks when you are closer to it. It was a young girl named Annabelle. She was on the bus with her parents. The next day she met up with Annabelle at a parade at the Queens Castle, But after a guard of the Queens castle could announce that the parade will be starting in two minutes. Katie heard a whistle in her ear. It was the magic wind. Mostly every year, when something bad is going to happen, the magic wind comes and turns her into different people. Usually she would be turned into her friends, and people she doesn¿t know. This time she turned into one of the Queens soldiers. She had a lot of trouble being these certain people. She didn¿t like being the queens guard because then she would have to take commands of the queen. Finally at the end Katie turned back into her normal self, and she became happy again.
