    Laugh 'til you cry

Author Wright understands and captures every funny thing a dog can do. She also knows how to write a compelling mystery that keeps you guessing right to the end. If you've read her earlier books, you know that each one just gets better. I laugh out loud every time I read a Whiskey Mattimoe mystery, and this is the funniest, best one yet. Go, Chester! Go, Abra! Go, Whiskey!!!!

Makes You Laugh, Makes You Think

The character of Twyla Rendel really stuck with me after I read this admittedly comic mystery. I'm a social worker, and I know women like her. But mainly I read the Whiskey Mattimoe mysteries for fun. You know, for escapism. And this one, like the others, delivers. I took it on vacation and devoured it on the plane and on the beach. If you follow the series, you'll enjoy your favorite characters--Abra, Whiskey, Chester, Jenx Jenkins, Odette--plus a few other regulars: Fenton Flagg, Tina Breen, and Peg Goh. I thinnk this book makes you think a little more than the others in the series do, but it also makes you laugh. Often and hard! Really enjoyed it and definitely recommend it. Do ya like dogs? Gotta read this!
