    Thriller in the Mississippi Delta

Whiskey with Chaser, two republished novels in one book centered around the character John Clements, is a wild thrill ride in the Mississippi Delta! The first novel, Shadow Seed, has adulterous lawyer Clements trying to get a killer out of jail on bond, and when he succeeds, the real killing begins. He's also reading his turn-of-the-century grandfather's diary, where Eugene Clements was representing an innocent man accused of murder, and falling in love with his wife-to-be, Clements' grandmother. In the second novel, The Delta Factor, a terrorist uses a crop duster to start a plague in the Mississippi Delta. Clements and a bevy of flamboyant southern characters must find out whodunit and why, and stop them before they spread the plague throughout the country. And stay alive while they're at it. Dark, realistic stories filled with humor and great southern characters. This is Larry Brown quality meets John Grisham thrills, Mississippi Delta style.
