People think I'm crazy. Maybe I am, since I've been able to talk to spirits for as long as I can remember. They are the forgotten, the souls who have unfinished business and can't cross over. I help them, or at least I try to. There's this one in particular, Jack, I call him, who's been following me around a lot. Usually they tell me what they need to do and move on.

Overview

People think I'm crazy. Maybe I am, since I've been able to talk to spirits for as long as I can remember. They are the forgotten, the souls who have unfinished business and can't cross over. I help them, or at least I try to. There's this one in particular, Jack, I call him, who's been following me around a lot. Usually they tell me what they need to do and move on. Not him.

It isn't until he brings another spirit, Tracy, the victim of an unsolved hit-and-run accident, that I know for sure he's something more than just your average spirit. Then I start seeing him. And feeling his touch. And falling for him.

In our quest to get justice for Tracy and help her move on, Jack and I become something more than just a dead boy and a living girl. I'm just waiting to see what happens next...

Lover of things random and ridiculous, Jane Austen/Charlotte and Emily Bronte Fangirl, red velvet cake enthusiast, obsessive tea drinker, vegetarian, former cheerleader and world's worst video gamer. When not writing, she enjoys watching infomercials, singing in the car and tweeting (this one time, she was tweeted by Neil Gaiman and nearly died). More often than not, these people turn out to be just as weird as she is.

I absolutely loved Whisper. I am so happy to have found another book like Meg Cabot's The Mediator series so that I will have another set of books to read once I finish Meg Cabot's series. The main character, Anna, is completely loveable and makes the story feel very genuine. I really appreciated that Chelsea Cameron really let the book go down a dark path, because she could have easily made it a light, heartfelt read. It really puts the cherry on top when a book can make me physically show emotion, and Whisper did not disappoint. I will absolutely be continuing the trilogy, and I encourage you all to try this book.

I've read books by this author and was blown away, this one did not disappoint! The story was amazing and how Annabelle was faced with so many problems from betrayal from friends and family, being put on meds because she can do things other people can't and falling in love with a ghost that 'what he seems. The love in this story is well paced and believable. 'Jack' is amazing, hes sweet and tough depending on what Annabelle to get through everything she has to deal with but also needs to do. All in all this book is a must read!
