* If this story wasn't true, it would be hard to believe! But it IS TRUE, which is the amazing part! How exciting to read a well written book and be able to feel like you are actually experiencing it with the author! I have never been to Russia or Georgia, formerly part of the Soviet Union, but after reading this true story, I feel like I have! So many emotions occurred within me as I read about incredible individuals and genuine historic happenings in our own lifetime. Reading about the indominable spirit of not just Georgians but of people all over the world who pulled together to make miracles occur because of the insight, selfless service, courage and love of ONE PERSON for fellow human beings on the other side of the earth who were experiencing death and discrimination is refreshing and enriching to the reader! The danger, the humility, the touching moments and the passion which individuals encountered and lived through is glorious! This book is a diamond with many shining facets. As I finished this book, I felt a new sense of my own abilities to make a difference for another person, many other people and varied cultures anywhere on earth!
