Nathan is being held captive and is in agony. His saving grace is the voice of an angel who eases his pain and helps him regain enough strength to escape. When he does, she leaves him with a void that he can barely stand. When he escapes and returns to the KGI, he hears her again-now she needs him.
Her name is Shae, and she's on the run with her sister. A government group wants to harness their abilities to heal. The KGI wants to help- but can Nathan quiet his soulmate's doubts and convince her that they are meant to face these dangers together?
Enjoyed it- a lot and will read more from this talented writer.

Nathan and Shea are connected on such an intimate level both by their telepathic link and their similar experiences of capture and torture. It is portrayed so strongly in this story you will feel as connected with Nathan and Shea as if you share their bond. I can¿t recommend this book to you strong enough. This will be one of those books that you tell all your friends about, but there¿s no way you¿re loaning them your copy.

I read books 1 - 3 in one day, this one did not keep me engaged. The premise was hard for me to get behind after the ground work of the first three books i the series. I looking forward to the rest of the series and appreciate how the characters we grow attached to in each book continue to have a role and history in each book.

Possibly the best of the series. I now occupy my thoughts wondering which actors should play whom in the movie. (If there were one).

This is the first KGI book that I have read, and I loved it so much that I have now gone back and bought the rest of the series. These books are a series, but you don't feel lost if you pick up any of the books.

Beautiful book! Nathan is perfect! I thought impossible to make a book as beautiful as the first one in this series. I'm glad I was wrong. This book is so beautiful! The bond betwen Nathan and Shea is so strong. The family love so well described. I was a little suspicious about it (because the thelephaty thing), but it was so well and beautiful writed, that I'm glad that I bought it.

Maya Banks definitely knows how to write a killer love story. This book was amazing because it has all the elements a romance novel should have and much more. It reads just like a good movie with hot romance and passion, plenty of action, and Ms. Banks definitely put a new twist in this one to give it a better story line and something fresh to read. She has done well in the past and definitely didn't disappoint and always having new tricks up her sleeve. I give more than 5 stars if possible for this books and all her other KGI books...

WOW!! I've never read a Maya Banks book that I didn't LOVE and this is no exception! I knew I would love the Kelly family the minute Maya started sharing them with us and Nathan and Shae's story is perfect and my favorite in the series so far!
I literally sat on the edge of my seat reading this book. The action is intense and the emotional ties and bonds between not only Nathan and Shea but the entire Kelly family is amazing.
Get yourself a box of Kleenex, a comfy chair and some snacks because once you start reading this book you will not put it down!
BRAVO Maya.....you did good with this one!

I loveddd it! It was so emotional and the love was so strong from the moment Shea entered Nathan's mind. I was so enthralled that I was shaking. I can't wait for Rio and Grace! I just know it's going to be just as good. I love Maya Banks! And absolutely OBSESSED with the KGI Series. :) Amazing. Just Amazing.

Oh man I had typed up a long review and then bn ate it. :-(
Basically, I said that Ms. Banks never leaves me feeling unsatisfied. All of the heroes that she writes about in all of her books are strong men that will do anything to protect the women in their lives. I've fallen in love with each of the KGI men and have reread the first 3 books numerous times and plan on doing that with Nathan's book as well.
If you enjoy action packed romance novels with strong men and women and you enjoy both laughing and feeling close to tears then you have to read Maya Banks especially her KGI series.
On a personal note I love the connection to TN and Ft. Campbell. I grew up in Clarksville and met my husband when he was stationed at Campbell.

Another great read by Maya! I read it in one day as usual, because u can never put a KGI story down! This isn't a sci/fi book by any means, (if u want that read The Host by Stephanie Meyer....now thats a GREAT GREAT book!) This was once again a damsel in distress saved by one of the twin Kelly brothers, Nathan. I loved the ups and downs, twists & turns, and the sex between Nathan and Sage was truly amazing, Maya made u feel their love! Great story, must read. GMonte
