Read an Excerpt
The two men were moving over the land as fast as they could go. They were riding a sled that was pulled by six dogs. The men were tired. It was very cold, and the land was covered with snow. Even the trees looked white. The men stopped. They started feeding the dogs. Then there was a cry. It was the cry of a wolf. "They're getting closer," said the man feeding the dogs. His name was Bill. "Yes," said the other man. His name was Henry. "They are hungry. They haven't had any food in a long time."
